UX Framework for Data Visualization

Standardized the data visualization implementation process across the Buy with Prime merchant console for Amazon designers and merchant users alike.

Executive Summary

Buy with Prime enables millions of US-based Prime members to shop directly from participating online stores, providing the trusted experience expected from Amazon. This includes fast, free delivery, an easy checkout process, and returns on eligible orders. This case study will primarily discuss my research and critical thinking skills, as well as my broad thinking for a future-oriented UX framework. It will also cover my iterations on how to best implement the framework.

UX Framework for Data Visualization @
Buy with Prime (BwP)

Problem Statement

The merchant console is the primary location that merchants interact with to gather data, manage inventory, promotions, and much more. Upon joining the team there was no collective vision for Data Visualization.

My Solution

I found a simple and effective framework to guide designers on the Buy with Prime team on how to make decisions regarding Data Visualization, especially as it relates to the UX of the page and the overall UX of the product.
